Lake Powell was a blast! We got out the door a little later than planned (what a surprise), and didn't get to the beach that we wanted to camp on until after 8 on friday night. Well, it was extremely crowded, and after driving around for an hour in the dark, we decided to give up. Luckily the credit card machine hadn't worked for us to pay on the way in :) We left and met up with our friends who were coming and went and found an empty campground and pitched our tents at like 10 pm. Erika was awesome and such a trooper! She didn't cry once. I think she was trying to take it all in. She hasn't ever seen stars or a black sky before. She finally went to sleep, but then woke up again when we were getting unto our tent. To say the least, we didn't get very much sleep, and it didn't help that once she went to sleep the first time, we stayed up and talked for a few more hours. We woke up to cloudy skies that sprinkled on us throughout the morning. Finally the sun peeked through and we went on a quest to find a good beach. We only stayed for a couple hours because it was so windy, but the trip to Page was well worth it. It was so relaxing and we laughed so much! We decided that next time it will have to happen on a week day so we can camp right on the beach though. Seriously, the RV's were like 2 feet apart across the whole beach! Maybe it will be warmer next time as well...Here are some (okay a lot) of pics from the trip.

She loved walking in the water. To bad the wind was so cold so she couldn't get more wet.
